Jian Cao

Systems Engineer, JMP

Jian Cao is the senior Systems Engineer for the Mid-Atlantic Region of JMP, a business unit of SAS specializing in statistical discovery software. He has more than 12 years of experience in using statistics and SAS® products to solve business problems. Cao began his career at AT&T Bell Labs in 1995 as a research analyst. He later moved onto management positions within the AT&T business organization, providing analytical support to sales and marketing. From 2001 to 2006 Cao worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a business consultant and the manager of statistical applications for a software company. He holds a Ph.D. in econometrics and a master's degree in statistics.
