Highlights from 2007

"The mean is in motion."

That’s what statistical visionary Stuart Hunter said during a discussion with Innovators’ Summit audience members on the final day of the inaugural Innovators' Summit last October. He was talking about examples of designed experiments for ongoing marketing programs.

Also in motion, as of the afternoon of October 16, were Innovators’ Summit participants. Heading back to their homes and offices across the country, they took with them concrete examples of analytic excellence in a myriad of industries, and strategies for incorporating enterprisewide excellence into their own operations. They also took with them grand theories warranting further exploration – and new friends with whom to examine those theories.
