Discovery Summit 2010. Exploring data. Inspiring innovation. SAS World Headquarters, Cary NC, September 13-16.

Up, Up and Away with JMP®

Do you value the opportunity to hear JMP users share how they’ve used the statistical discovery software to  soar past a challenge? We do too. That’s why we’ve asked them to talk about their data exploration and analysis – and what they’ve discovered on that great adventure.

Users play a key role at our conference by describing how JMP helps them solve problems. Each year they are a source of inspiration for the Discovery Summit – posing and challenging analytic theories, benchmarking best practices and conceiving innovative concepts.

The call is closed, but the floor is open

Researchers, practitioners and students from all fields submitted abstracts for papers that will open up dialogue about the world of analytics. Some will give the mile-high view; others will demonstrate how the details are solidly grounded in the data. Whether you are an analytic beginner or a more advanced practitioner, there will be a great schedule of talks for you.

Paper presentations will:

  • Instigate conversations and open dialogue about how analytics can be spread across organizations, not stuck in isolated pockets.
  • Demonstrate real-world problems solved by the strategic implementation of analytic methods and statistical techniques.
  • Showcase an interesting application you’ve built with JMP Scripting Language.
  • Describe an “aha” moment of discovery and how you got there.
  • Advance and shape the application of statistical methods in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Show how to use JMP interactively.

If your application or research is better suited for a smaller, niche audience, you may be asked to present a poster.

Posters will:

  • Exhibit substantial evidence of the nature of a designated problem.
  • Present the method(s) used to reach a viable solution.
  • Provide a solid explanation of that solution.

Presenters will:

  • Receive complimentary conference admission.
  • Enjoy first-class accommodations from Sept. 13 – 15 if your paper is accepted.*
  • Gather feedback from other attendees so you can further fine-tune your own analyses.
  • Be a part of the conference conversation, advancing the use of analytics across leading companies around the globe.
  • Demonstrate to your colleagues and managers how higher analytics are benefiting your organization.
  • Present among some of the finest analytic minds, including our keynote speakers who are thought leaders in statistics, technology and innovation.
