 The second best way to experience JMP may be our new podcasts. In the first episode of our Innovator Series, Daniel Valente of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) talks about designing the recording studio of the future. JMP podcasts can be viewed online (Flash plug-in required). You can also subscribe to the podcast in either audio or video format to receive future episodes automatically (iTunes or other podcatching software required).

Ramsey, Professor at the University of New Hampshire, at the 50th Annual Fall Technical Conference, October 12-13, in Columbus, OH. Six Sigma initiatives in today's organizations require interactive and flexible tools to visualize and explore data for project identification, analysis and improvement. Partition analysis, a data mining technique, allows the user to analyze large or unruly data tables to quickly identify potential high- value projects, explore complex interactions and infer relationships. DOE provides a structure for establishing causal relationships suggested by the partition analysis. Combining partition analysis and DOE provides a powerful approach that accelerates improvement by leveraging existing data sources. Highlights included 16 session talks in four tracks, lunch-time roundtable discussions, and four exciting keynote presentations. Of attendees who responded to an evaluation survey, 98 percent said they recommend the event, and 95 percent said they are likely to attend in 2007.
