Course Highlight: Instructor Laura Ryan Discusses New Live Web JMP® Course
Live Web courses are quickly becoming a favorite among SAS Education students. Students report that the ease of use, ability to ask questions and lack of travel time and expense make Live Web a viable alternative when they can't attend a course in person. Now students can also take advantage of several new JMP courses that have been added to the Live Web curriculum, including JMP Software: Design and Analysis of Experiments. Instructor Laura Ryan tells us a little about the class, herself and using JMP.
Don't Forget to Set Your Clocks — And Your Scripts — Forward in March
Have you written any JSL scripts that incorporate Daylight Saving Time? If so, you'll want to make adaptations to scripts to take into account changes set by the Energy Policy Act of 2005. Per the change, Daylight Saving Time will begin this year at 2:00 a.m., Sunday, March 11, as opposed to previous years when it began in April. The new Daylight Saving Time schedule calls for clocks to revert to standard time at 3:00 a.m. on the first Sunday of November rather than on the last Sunday in October.
