"No other statistical software offers the value and the power of JMP."
-- Dr. Philip Ramsey
University of New Hampshire
Since 1996, the University of New Hampshire has been using JMP in applied statistics courses ranging from Introductory Statistics to Design of Experiments. Dr. Philip Ramsey, Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at UNH, incorporates JMP into his statistics courses for students studying a variety of engineering and scientific disciplines.
Dr. Ramsey's courses are streamed live on the Internet for remote students. Interactive graphics in JMP make it ideal for Dr. Ramsey to teach statistical concepts and methods using the virtual classroom environment.
"For courses involving linear models, JMP's Fit Model platform provides a powerful and invaluable tool for teaching how to formulate, estimate, and evaluate a wide range of fixed and mixed effects models," said Dr. Ramsey. "For their final project, students use JMP to design an experiment. JMP allows us to cover more topics in courses, like Design of Experiments. No other statistical software offers the value and the power of JMP for such a wide spectrum of statistical applications."
