Interactive Learning Tools
These applet-like Concept Discovery Modules let you teach concepts visually. They help you convey fundamental statistical concepts and offer ideal lecture aids. Available for free download from the Academic Interactive Learning Tools page, they come with a bonus: You can use your own data to illustrate concepts in JMP. Available for download from our website, Quick Guides provide the menu steps essential for completing any analysis covered in introductory statistics courses.
JMP e-Course
This online course is included in certain department and campus licenses at no additional cost. It teaches the skills needed to get started with JMP and generates a certificate of completion, so it can be easily assigned to students.
JMP Course Materials
Course materials are available to qualified college and university faculty members as part of the Teaching Materials from SAS program. Participating instructors receive an electronic copy of JMP course materials, which they may tailor to their courses and distribute to students.
Books
We offer review copies of books from SAS Press. To learn which textbooks integrate JMP, go to the Books and JMP page and select the Textbooks tab.
Online Documentation
JMP documentation is available online as a searchable set of Web pages that makes it easy to find the information you need. The pages are linkable, making it easy for students to find answers to specific questions. The documentation, including a gallery of informative JMP screenshots, is also available to download as a PDF.
JMP File Exchange
The JMP Community File Exchange contains files contributed by users and includes sample data files, JMP Scripting Language (JSL) files, Add-ins, and SAS stored processes. Requires a SAS profile.
JMP and SAS
With JMP, you aren’t limited to the features inherent in the software. You can extend the analytic reach of JMP by harnessing other programs, including SAS.

JMP Graph Builder for iPad®
An iPad application is offered free of charge on the iTunes® AppStoreSM. Share JMP data tables with your students using email, Dropbox, or by embedding a file in your online syllabus. Students can follow along and explore data graphically as you teach.
