… the hottest ways to access your JMP tools from the tool menu? Hotkeys, of course! You can use single key strokes, or hotkeys, to quickly invoke the tool that you want to use. You might click the “c” key to invoke the crosshairs tool; this will display a movable set of axes so that you can locate points and estimate distances. Or, you might click the “t” key to invoke the Text Annotate tool; this allows you to add text notes to JMP reports, journals or layouts. Using hotkeys keeps your hands on the keyboard and eyes on the screen, keeping you focused on your analysis without having to use the mouse to open the toolbar. Watch this short demonstration to see a couple of these in action and see how just cool the hotkeys are.
