Conference Agenda Promises Learning Opportunities »
The papers and posters for Discovery Summit have been selected, and this year's paper presentations will cover topics such as the predictive modeling of the Arctic, market basket analysis, visualization of archeological data, application building and JMP scripting. The paper and poster sessions at Discovery Summit are a formal venue for JMP users to share their real-life case studies on a variety of topics, demonstrating how they use JMP to learn from data and effect change in their organizations. This year's sessions will feature representatives from Bank of America, GlaxoSmithKline, National Institutes of Health, Intel, SAS and more. In addition, poster presentations will show how JMP is used at places such as Duke University Medical Center, Cypress Semiconductor, Lockheed Martin and Sandia National Laboratory. Check out the schedule of presentations and register.

Have you tried... »
... cutting and pasting new column headings? Sometimes when you import data, the column names that come from your source file become the first row of data. If this happens, it's as easy as a simple cut-and-paste to move the row contents to the column names in the data table. Just select the row that contains the column names, and copy this information to the clipboard. With this information at your fingertips, choose the existing column names in the Columns section and then paste the information. Watch these steps covered in the demo and learn about a JMP Preference that will correct this automatically.
