Tips & Tricks
Have you tried... »
... cutting and pasting new column headings? Sometimes when you import data, the column names that come from your source file become the first row of data. If this happens, it's as easy as a simple cut-and-paste to move the row contents to the column names in the data table. Just select the row that contains the column names, and copy this information to the clipboard. With this information at your fingertips, choose the existing column names in the Columns section and then paste the information. Watch these steps covered in the demo and learn about a JMP Preference that will correct this automatically.
