JMP Software for Microarray, SNP and Proteomics Expression Analysis
Analysis of microarray expression, SNP and proteomics data presents unique challenges. These experiments can have up to 500,000 data points distributed among a large number of subjects, and so reliably determining significant changes requires sophisticated analysis methods. JMP software integrates simple-to-use genomics analysis protocols specific for expression, SNP analysis and proteomic data into the JMP 6 platform.
In this demonstration, we provide an overview of how JMP can input data from a number of platforms, perform sophisticated QC analysis, normalize data, then find significant results using a sophisticated mixed-model ANOVA or genomic case-control analyses. Expression data will next be examined for patterns between genes and using KEGG, affected biochemical pathways. This all-in-one software, when combined with the capabilities of JMP 6, provides a sophisticated desk-top application for scientists using microarrays for research.
