Description: This demonstration shows the influence of an outlier on the one-way ANOVA statistics, the F ratio and the P>F value.

Instructions: Open the data table below first. Open and run the script second. Select Profit for Y, Response and Type for X, Factor. Click OK. The display uses the standard Oneway layout but not the actual Oneway platform. You can grab any data point and drag it vertically. You can demonstrate this concept with any data table as long as the variable for X is reasonable (i.e., nominal with few levels).
