  Scripts
JSL ANOVA Model
This demonstration is based on a simple example of two treatment groups, each replicated a total of three times. The data are used to illustrate "independence" and to walk through the decomposition into each term of the model: mean, effect, and residual.
JSL Confidence Interval
This script demonstrates confidence intervals for the mean.
JSL F Test
This demo script shows the influence of an outlier on the one-way ANOVA statistics, the F ratio and the P>F value.
JSL Non-Central T Distribution
This demonstration shows how the t distribution changes, that is, it becomes skewed, when the null hypothesis is not true.
JSL Sampling Distribution
This script demonstrates the parallels between the population mean and standard deviation and the sample statistic mean and standard error.
JSL Tree Seeds
This data set is a good example of a power model as often happens in biology. From The Practice of Statistics by Yates, Moore and Starnes (see Notes table variable for citation).
