Distance Between 2 Locations

Description: This script accepts two United States Postal Service ZIP codes and computes the linear (great circle) distance between the two locations. Of course, this assumes that the code is for a real location and registered with the United States Census Bureau. A simple custom report presents the original ZIP codes and the spherical coordinates for both locations. It also presents the distance in miles. Note the associated data table contains only codes for the United States of America.
Instructions: Store the script and the data table files together in the same directory. Open the script and run it. Provide the ZIP code for both locations and click the OK button. If either of the ZIP codes is missing, then the script stops and reports the error in the Log window. Otherwise, it finishes with a custom report containing your answer.
Requirements: ZIP Codes.jmp (included)
