This example uses the Cities.jmp sample data table. The table contains miscellaneous pollution data for fifty-two cities. Specification limits for the values have not been entered in the data table. Limits for the variables OZONE, CO, SO2, and NO, are available in a separate data table entitled CitySpecLimits.jmp.

Open the Cities.jmp sample data table.

Select Analyze > Quality and Process > Capability.
3.
Select OZONE, CO, SO2, and NO and click Y, Columns.

Click OK. The Spec Limits window appears.
5.
Select Import Spec Limits from the Spec Limits red triangle menu and then select CitySpecLimits.jmp to import the limits automatically.

Select Next to continue to the reports window.

To view normalized box plots and capability indices reports, select Normalized Box Plots and Capability Indices Report from the Capability red triangle menu.
