Problem Note 35879: Data imported from a DB2 library may be corrupt
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
A data set imported from a SAS® Access to DB2 library using SAS integration may be corrupt. Data on every hundredth row may be replaced with zeros or blanks. That is, data on rows 101, 201, 301, and so on, will be replaced with zeros if a numeric column, blanks if a character column.
This problem occurs when JMP® is interfaced with either SAS® 9.1.3 or SAS® 9.2.
The only work around is to specify all column names to be imported. This can be accomplished through the JMP user interface in the Browse SAS Data window by disclosing the Import Options, then select the Select Columns button. Select the columns to be imported in the Select Columns window, click OK, then click the Import button in the Browse SAS Data window.
A hot fix is available for this issue. Please select the hot fix tab of this note to access it.
The problem has been fixed in SAS® 9.2 TS2M2
