Usage Note 36012: Can I test if my data are coming from the "XYX" distribution?
Yes. This functionality is available in the Distribution platform. Prior to JMP® Version 8, choose Fit Distribution from the title bar pulldown menu and choose a specific distribution. Beginning in Version 8, select either Continuous Fit or Discrete Fit. Once the Fitted Distribution table is presented, choose Goodness of Fit from the pulldown menu.
