When importing a tab delimited text file into JMP, all of the data may
be included under one column, instead of under multiple columns as
expected, unless you specify the file is tab delimited.

To import the data correctly, verify that the TAB selection is checked
for the "End of Field" Import Setting in JMP.  To set the "End of Field"
Import Setting:

   - invoke JMP
   - select FILE => Preferences
   - select the TEXT Import/Export tab
   - Locate the Import Settings block and check the TAB selection under
     End Of Field.
   - Select APPLY at the bottom right of the Preferences window.
