Ron S. Kenett, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO of KPA Ltd., Research Professor at the University of Torino, Italy and International Research Professor at the Center for Risk Engineering, NYU-Poly, New York, USA. He earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics (1978) from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot with a thesis on “Studies in Enzyme Kinetics” supervised by Professor Sam Karlin from Stanford University. Ron has over 25 years of work experience in Management Consulting, Industrial Statistics and Biostatistics. He is a recognized expert in Quality by Design (QbD), Risk Management, Quality Management, Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control. He has published over 150 scientific papers and 4 books including Modern Industrial Statistics: Design and Control of Quality and Reliability (with S. Zacks), Duxbury Press, San Francisco, 1998, Spanish edition 2000, 2nd paperback edition 2002 and Chinese edition 2004. Ron is Editor in Chief of the Wiley Encyclopedia of Statistics in Quality and Reliability, Editor in Chief for Europe of the international journal Quality Technology and Quantitative Management and Past President of ENBIS, the European Network for Businesses and Industrial Statistics.
