xkcd webcomic creator Randall Munroe to headline
Discovery Summit

You’ll be amazed what you learn when you surround yourself with sharp data analysts like those found at Discovery Summit. Scheduled for Sept. 19-23 at SAS world headquarters, the conference will feature xkcd webcomic creator Randall Munroe as the closing keynote.

Munroe is masterful at using math, science and comics to explain complex ideas. In his latest book, Thing Explainer, he uses the 1,000 (or, rather, ten hundred) most common words in the English language to explain concepts like how smartphones work, the periodic table and nuclear reactors.

You’ll also hear from SAS co-founder John Sall on triskaidekaphilia and the release of JMP® 13, DOE expert Chris Nachtsheim, and retired R&D director from Procter & Gamble Tom Lange.

Who uses JMP® Clinical and why?

Our users are modernizing their clinical trial monitoring processes using JMP Clinical. The software combines the power of SAS Analytics with the graphical flexibility of JMP, which is the tool of choice of medical reviewers at the US Food and Drug Administration.

Clinicians are able to perform risk-based monitoring, central statistical monitoring, clinical oversight monitoring and data quality improvement with JMP Clinical. And they find that the time required to review clinical trial data is greatly reduced.

Whether you many need JMP Clinical or have a colleague who does, you’ll want to know that the latest version is out later this month. So take a look.

Have you tried ...

…subsetting your report data? In a report such as Distribution, you may want to drill down into specific data, or you may need to share only a portion of data after you've run a report from a JMP platform. In these cases, subsetting the data from a report may be helpful. Watch this video to learn how to subset from a report by selecting the data in a Histogram and then using Subset.
