New JSL Cookbook and JMP Wish List in JMP User Community

The JMP User Community has just marked one year in its new design and celebrated a 10,000-member milestone, but we’re not stopping there. Now, the User Community is launching two new spaces to share, ask, learn and connect: the JSL Cookbook and the JMP Wish List.

JSL Cookbook: If you’re looking for a code snippet that performs a common task for your JSL project, the JSL Cookbook might be for you. This new space in the JMP User Community contains building blocks of JSL code that you can use to reduce the amount of coding you have to do yourself.

JMP Wish List: While using JMP, have you thought of a new feature that could enhance the software? Have you wondered where to share your idea? The JMP User Community now has a space just for your JMP wishes. Use the JMP Wish List to submit wishes, see other ideas and vote for ones you like.

Asking "Why?"

If you haven’t yet taken a look at the Discovery Summit 2017 presentations, why not? You'll want to hear one of this year’s plenary speakers, Victor Strecher, who examines what it means to live life on purpose.

Why do we ask questions? Why do we explore data? Usually we do so to discover something we didn’t know before. Strecher’s talk takes his audience through the compelling journey of asking life questions—specifically examining his life and discovering its purpose. He even uses JMP along the way, using its tools to explore and discover, to uncover details that help answer why.

Virtual JMP Users Group new meeting time

The new Virtual JMP Users Group, which is open to JMP users worldwide, will begin meeting monthly in 2018. Meetings will be held on the third Thursday of the month from noon to 1:00 p.m. ET.

Each meeting will feature a talk by a JMP user followed by questions and answers and any group planning that is needed.

Visit the Virtual JMP Users Group space in the User Community for more details.
