Developers blog about JMP 14 features

The people who work to grow and enhance JMP software are blogging about the new capabilities they enjoy using. In the JMPer Cable Blog, JMP Development staff cover interactive HTML enhancements, improvements to the Scripting Index, process screening and much more.

Here are a few of the blog posts you won't want to miss:

New in JMP 14 webcast now available on demand

The webcast that introduced JMP 14 and JMP Pro 14 is now available on demand. This webcast offers a guided tour of the new statistical and analytic capabilities that help you visualize, examine and model data about your products, processes and customers. Watch the webcast, at your own pace, and see how the new features in JMP 14 can streamline your data cleanup process, let you access rich data sources and take your analysis to the next level with the enhanced modeling tools in JMP Pro. Also, you can use the links to the JMP journal and documentation to try the new features yourself (you'll need JMP 14 or JMP Pro 14 to use the features outlined in the journal).

How to get JMP 14

If you don't have the latest version of JMP and want to know how to upgrade to the new version at your organization, then read on. For annual license JMP users, your software administrator is your key to the upgrade. Find out who your administrator is and ask them to request JMP 14 as soon as possible (only software administrators can request the upgrade). Software administrators should have received an email with instructions for requesting JMP 14. If you do not have an annual license or are not sure what type of license you have, see more details about getting JMP 14 here.

Have you tried...

...adding hyperlinks in text columns to quickly link to content outside of JMP? To include hyperlinks in a column, 1) select "Event Handler" in Column Properties, 2) enter the URL ending with a forward slash and within quotation marks in the first part of the Web Function, and 3) add two vertical concat lines (||) to connect the link to the remainder of the script. Watch this video to see how to add hyperlinks to your text columns in JMP.

See JMP Tips and Tricks for more short videos on using JMP.
