JMP is an analytic hub

Did you know that JMP has scripting integrations with many popular analytics programs? Specifically, JMP can call routines and share data with R, Matlab, Python and SAS. By combining the power of JMP’s graphics and interactivity with any (or all!) of these other packages JMP can be an analytic hub, allowing you to build entire applications. You can see how others have used this powerful integration and learn more from these presentations from Discovery Summit around the world.

Discovery Summit Call for Content open until May 8

We're preparing for an enlightening, enriching Discovery Summit Cary experience online in October. What does that mean for paper and e-poster presenters? It means you'll have an engaged audience, and it means you can present from anywhere on the planet. No airline tickets or passports needed. So go ahead and prepare your abstract for the call for content and submit by May 8!

Have you tried...

...using value labels for more informative data labels? Raw data is often coded in a non-informative way, for example, coding gender with "M" for male and "F" for female. For more descriptive labels, use Value Labels in JMP. To add value labels: 1) Right-click a column name, 2) click Column Info, 3) click the Column Properties button, 4) select Value Labels, and 5) enter the value and associated label for each value label.

You can also watch this video to see how to create value labels.
