Phil Simon is frequent keynote speaker and recognized technology authority. He is the author of seven management books on the intersection of data, technology, business and communications, including The Visual Organization, Too Big to Ignore, The Age of the Platform and his latest release, Message Not Received. He also advises organizations on matters related to strategy, management, communications, big data and technology. Simon has close to 100 clients in such industries as health care, manufacturing, retail, education, telecommunications and the public sector.
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, his career led him to Sony Electronics and then graduate school at Cornell University. He quickly gravitated to work rooted in technology, data and systems, particularly consulting. Simon is a contributor to Harvard Business Review, CNN, Wired, NBC, CNBC, Businessweek, The Huffington Post, InformationWeek and The New York Times.
