Join JMP for Smarter Experiments for Faster Innovation, a Discovery Seminar Series event that showcases the transformative power of design of experiments (DOE) in your day-to-day work. Best suited for scientists, engineers, and R&D leaders, each session demonstrates how to gain a competitive edge through smarter experiments.
Using case studies and practical demonstrations, we first explore the limitations of traditional experimentation methods and then highlight the impact that DOE and related analytic workflows in JMP can have.
Key learnings:
- The increased productivity and predictability of using DOE to drive innovation rather than traditional experimentation methods.
- How to effectively manage multifactor complexities with experimental design.
- How to use features in JMP to enable smart experimentation within your organization, such as Functional Data Explorer and the soon-to-be-added Bayesian Optimization.
Each session is followed by live Q&A with our experts. A networking lunch and additional learning opportunities round out the program.
Attendance is limited. If you plan to join us, please register as soon as possible.

Presenter
Heath Rushing, Co-founder, Adsurgo
Heath Rushing is the co-founder of Adsurgo and author of the book “Design and Analysis of Experiments by Douglas Montgomery: A Supplement for Using JMP.” Previously, he was the JMP and Six Sigma training manager at SAS, where he led a team of nine technical professionals developing applied statistics and quality continuing education courses. He created tailored courses, applications, and long-term training plans in quality and statistics across a variety of industries, including biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, and chemical processing.
As a quality engineer at Amgen, Rushing championed statistical principles in every business unit and developed the standard design of experiments course required at multiple sites. He also developed and implemented numerous innovative statistical methods advancing corporate risk management, process capability, and validation acceptance criteria.
Rushing has been an invited speaker on the applicability of statistics for national and international conferences. He won the top teaching award out of 54 instructors in the Air Force Academy math department, where he taught several semesters and sections of operations research and statistics.
