Astrid Ruck

Senior Systems Engineer

Astrid Ruck is a Senior Systems Engineer at JMP Statistical Discovery, which creates interactive and highly visual statistical discovery software designed for scientists and engineers. In her current role, Ruck helps organizations drive efficiency, enable data-driven innovation, and solve complex technical challenges. Her areas of expertise include Design for Six Sigma, advanced DOE, reliability, MSA, and multivariate analytics.

Before joining JMP, Ruck worked as a Senior Statistics Leader at Autoliv, the global leader in automotive safety systems. During her 20+ year career at Autoliv, Ruck helped develop global statistical standards, led an Industry 4.0 data automation initiative, and established JMP as an enterprisewide analytics platform. She was also recognized as a Master Black Belt, Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) curriculum architect, and served as a trusted adviser supporting global product development and quality improvement across all divisions at the company.

Ruck holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Hamburg.
