Jeff Upton

Jeff Upton is a Principal Systems Engineer for JMP Statistical Discovery, which creates interactive and highly visual statistical discovery software designed for scientists and engineers. He supports sales and customer development in Northern California’s life sciences space.

Before joining JMP, Upton held engineering R&D positions with Roche Molecular Solutions, Synthetic Genomics, and Genentech. Working in these roles, he gained experience in assay development and validation, workflow automation, and data analysis and visualization using JMP. He received a bachelor’s degree in biochemical engineering at the University of California, Davis, and a master’s in engineering management and leadership at Santa Clara University.
