TECHNICALLY SPEAKING

ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

DOE: You Can Do It (and Should Want To)

Design of experiments (DOE) is a powerful, structured approach to scientific problem solving, but it is often misunderstood or avoided – especially by those without formal training in statistics. In this session, Monique Roerdink Lander shares her perspective as a subject matter expert who realized DOE’s essential role of product innovation in industry.

Whether you are new to DOE or feel frustrated by rigid templates and confusing terminology, this webinar shows how the approach is user-friendly, adaptable, and highly effective – especially when paired with the right tools.

Join us to learn how DOE, even for non-statisticians, leads to faster discoveries, stronger conclusions, and smarter experimental planning.

The event concludes with audience Q&A.

Key highlights:

  • Understand why trial-and-error or “gut feel” experimentation slows progress and increases risk.
  • See how modern tools like JMP make it easier to design experiments that fit your specific goals and practical limitations.
  • Hear real-world examples of how running a DOE saves time, uncovers insights that traditional approaches miss, and can save costs at your organization.
  • Understand why it’s important for you to know how to set up and analyze DOEs yourself - even if you’re working with a statistician.
