About the Presenters
Alisa Hunt-Lowery is a Systems Engineer at JMP. Prior to joining JMP, she spent 15 years in engineering and process improvement across a number of industries, including pharmaceuticals, health care, government, semiconductors, clinical research, textiles, banking, and energy supply. A Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Alisa has extensive experience leading and facilitating cross-functional teams, utilizing skills such as process mapping, Kaizen events, 5S, design of experiments and statistical process control. She has also trained more than 1,000 Yellow Belts, Green Belts and Black Belts. Alisa graduated from North Carolina State University with a master’s in industrial engineering.
Jed Campbell is a Senior Systems Engineer at JMP. An educator by training, Jed helps people see how they can get better and faster insights into their data by using JMP. A Master Black Belt in Six Sigma, he has a vast experience as a problem solver, ranging from process improvement in manufacturing to designing and coaching experiments in rocket science. Jed led a successful application process for which he won the enterprise-level Shingo Prize in 2011. He has a strong business acumen, sharpened by a nationally ranked MBA, focusing on entrepreneurship.
Derek Lontine is a Senior Research Engineer at US Synthetic, a global leader in polycrystalline diamond compact, based in Orem, Utah. Derek leads research in ultra-high-pressure systems and ultrahard materials. He graduated from BYU with a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering. Derek is passionate about pushing the boundaries of materials science with analytical and problem-solving approaches.
