Mixture experiments are useful when the properties of a mixture are more accurately described by the ratios of the materials in the mixture rather than their absolute levels. Our speaker: Donald Thompson is a Team Leader at DuluxGroup, looking after Interior Coatings, where his team helps develop the next generation of paints and coatings by discovering novel interactions between materials. He has actively used DOE for the past 6 years in formulation development, as well as for the process optimisation of Robotic High Throughput Equipment.
