Teaching Text Mining without Writing Code
Oct. 20 | 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET
Unstructured text data is everywhere, and many academic programs incorporate—or might like to incorporate—text mining into their curricula. JMP's Text Explorer enables students to learn basic and advanced text mining methods through JMP's interactive point-and-click interface, making text mining more accessible to a wider range of students and disciplines. This webinar will demonstrate text mining techniques such as word clouds, latent semantic analysis, topic analysis, and sentiment analysis, as well as preparatory steps such as building stop word and phrase lists. If you'd like to incorporate text mining into your course but don't want to teach coding, this webinar will show you how.
No prior JMP experience is necessary. If you're new to JMP, consider briefly exploring our collection of 60-second videos showing how JMP brings value to statistics education.
