13:30 | Tonisity - our journey from Excel to JMP automations We started with JMP 4 years ago. We were tired of Excel’s bulkiness and we loved JMP’s drag and drop features, and how easy it is to learn. However, we have moved a long way since, and we now use JMP for statistics, and more importantly for automations and product QC. One example of the time and effort saving that JMP delivered is one of our meta-analyses. We receive experimental data from client farms on how our products impact on piglet survival/mortality. This meta-analysis started off 5 years ago with a 3-5-week long, Excel-intensive process. Over time, it morphed into a 0.5-1-week mainly automated JMP process. JMP taught us the value of following process maps and the impact the automations can have on how we view data. Aside from the time savings, we can now focus on interpreting and discovering hidden corners of the data rather than moving things around in tables Stefan Buzoianu (Tonisity International) |
