JMP® Scripting Language for Experienced JSL Users – Part 1
Presenter: Brady Brady
Comparing Script Methods and Scripting Data Tables
The presenter compares the times needed for various data cleanup methods and gives JSL examples of how to create data tables for data querying and cleanup. He uses JSL commands that can pass information between data tables and matrices including get as matrix, get values, get selected rows, as table, set matrix, set values, and more. He also demonstrates how to create a summary table and then operate on items in the source table by selecting items from the summary table.
Scripting Cell Properties, Lists and Matrices
See how to use JSL to create custom column properties; use lists, matrices, and associative arrays; convert lists to matrices; build strings from list elements; break strings into substrings and words; and more.
Scripting Associative Arrays
See how to use associative arrays to work with strings and describes a workaround for associative arrays converting numbers into integers.
