Ryan Cooper is a Systems Engineer at JMP Statistical Discovery, which creates interactive and highly visual statistical discovery software for scientists and engineers. Ryan supports existing and prospective customers in the Gulf Coast Territory (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi). He likes helping scientists and engineers in multiple industries use JMP to quickly and easily obtain valuable analytical insights from their data through exploration, visualization, experimentation, and predictive modeling.
Prior to joining JMP, Ryan worked in the semiconductor industry, gaining more than 11 years of experience with photolithography equipment, materials, and quality data analysis. While in this fast-paced manufacturing environment where solutions are needed quickly to make reliable decisions, he discovered JMP; it soon became his go-to tool for statistical data analysis and predictive modeling
A native and current resident of Austin, TX, Ryan has a bachelor’s of mechanical engineering from the University of Texas, as well as a master’s in analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. While at Georgia Tech, he authored a project that won JMP’s Best Poster award at JMP Discovery Summit Americas 2021.
