A Case Study of JMP Used in Industry
Wednesday, Oct. 28
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET
In this webinar, we will illustrate a real world scenario of using statistical techniques and best practices to solve an engineering problem. A variety of tools in JMP will be used including methods to clean and prepare data for analysis, visually explore data, build statistical models and conduct model diagnostics, use analysis results to address engineering hypotheses, and summarize findings suitable for management.
- Who should attend?
Faculty and students interested in seeing an example of how statistical scientists solve real engineering problems.
- What can I expect to get out of the webinar?
You will learn how JMP can help guide an engineer through the complete life-cycle of real world problem.
- How much JMP experience should I have?
Knowledge of inferential statistics such as hypothesis testing as well as an understanding of statistical modeling. Familiarity with using JMP. We recommend watching the three short Getting Started for Academics webinars on demand.
