Resources for Teaching Intermediate Statistics: Online, In-Person, and Hybrid

Tuesday, July 28, 2020

2 PM ET (11 AM PT)

This third webinar in the four-part summer “Resources for Teaching” series will focus on resources for an intermediate statistics course, covering more about advanced regression and other intermediate-level methods. Watch this alone, or supplement it with additional resources from the first webinar of this series, "Resources for Teaching Introductory Statistics (General)."

In this webinar, we will identify resources, specific to an intermediate statistics course, that you can use to help teach concepts, provide examples and instructional videos, to teach JMP software skills, and to support student learning. Resources include examples, assignments, or instructional videos, interactive concept demos, case studies, eLearning courses with certificates of completion, and other instructional or supplementary materials.

  • Who should attend?
Faculty members teaching any statistical course.

  • What can I expect to get out of the webinar?
You will learn about the many free teaching tools, examples, lecture notes, eLearning, and teaching resources available that you can incorporate into your JMP course.

  • How much JMP experience should I have?
Basic knowledge of JMP software is helpful. We also recommend attending the JMP Basics for Professors and Students webinar or watching one of our videos on demand.
