High and Low Labs
Use this option to create binary variables indicating incidences of high and low lab results.
Two columns are created for each lab test - one column for lab results exceeding a specified maximum normal threshold, and one column for lab results falling below a specified minimum lower normal threshold. The thresholds are determined by the Multiplier for Upper Normal Limit and Divisor for Lower Normal Limit parameters. The new variable begins with the prefix LBI_. Values are restricted to 1, indicating the observation was above the maximum threshold or below the minimum threshold. In both columns, results falling within the normal range are indicated with a 0.
