Treatment Variable

Use this field to specify, from ADSL, an alternative treatment variable.

The distinct levels of this variable are compared to each other statistically.

If you leave this field blank, then the variable corresponding to treatment arm is used according to what is specified in the Trial Time Windows parameter.

To Specify an Alternative Treatment Variable:

Select Specified Below in the Trial Time Windows parameter.

Click to open the Add window (shown below) that lists each variable contained in ADSL.

All of the ADSL variables in the specified study are displayed in the ADD window.

Select the variables you want to include in the analysis and click OK to add those variables to the text box.

In this example, SEX was selected and added.
