Define events as:

Use this feature to specify those discontinuations that are to be considered as events.

Choose

When you want to:

Discontinuations due to adverse events or deaths

Limit events to those due to one or more adverse events or death (the entry in DSDECOD is either Death, Died, Dead, or Adverse Event).

In this case, subjects are censored at either their day of study completion or their day of discontinuation because of a non-event.

Discontinuations due to all reasons

Consider all discontinuations, regardless of reason, to be events.

Subjects are considered censored when the entry in DSDECOD is either Complete or Completed.

Note: In both cases, subjects are considered censored or discontinued on the date (DSSTDTC) of the disposition record.
