Output File Prefix

The Output File Prefix field is used to distinguish names of output files from other output files (on different runs) of this process.

 

The name specified in this field is prefixed to a process-specific suffix. If no name is specified here, the name of the Input SAS Data Set with a process-specific suffix appended, is specified instead.

To Specify an Output File Prefix:

Left-click in the field and type a name for the output data set.

All output files for this process will have the specified name appended to the specific file type suffix.
