SL for Keeping Variables in the Selected Model

Use this option to specify a significance level p-value threshold for keeping variables in the selected model when performing association tests.

If the significance test for a variable is below this threshold, it is in the model.

When the model includes random effects (the K matrix), the multi-marker model selection method selects variables from the rotated data, and these might not be significant when fitted on the unrotated data, especially if there are missing values in the unrotated data.

To Specify a New Significance Level for Keeping Variables in the Selected Model:

Check the Perform association tests on selected markers check box.

Highlight the default value and enter the desired value in the text field.
