Thinning Rate
Use this option to specify the number of samples to be discarded before keeping a sample in the Markov chain.
Specifing a thinning rate k, means that every kth simulated sample in the Markov chain is kept for posterior inferences.
To Specify the Thinning Rate:

Tip: To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select Rescale Slider from the pop-up menu. Change the upper and/or lower boundaries in the window that appears, to rescale the slider and click OK.
