Output Description

Export to GSEA Format

Running this process for the DrosophilaAgingExample sample generates the JMP Genomics Message window shown below. Refer to the Export to GSEA Format process description for more information.

The JMP Genomics Message window lists the location of the output and the name and type of output files. There is a link to the GSAEA website at the bottom of the window.

Expression data are exported as .txt files, as shown below. The first column lists the gene names. The succeeding columns list the data for the samples.

Phenotype data are exported as .cls files, as shown below:

The .cls files are organized as follows:

The first row in the file indicates the number of samples and classes. Note: The third value in this row is always 1.
The second row lists the user-visible name for each class.
The third row lists the class name for each sample. There is one value for each sample. Values are either space- or tab-delimited.
