Compression Rate

Use this field to specify the percentage by which the K matrix is compressed at each compression level.

For example, specifying a rate of 0.10 decreases the dimension of the K matrix by 10% for each iteration of the optimized compression method. If the K matrix has dimension of 1000, for example, the first compression level tests a K matrix with a dimension of 900, the second level tests a compressed matrix of dimension of 810, and so on.

To Specify a Compression Rate:

8 Either type the desired value into the text field, or move the slider to the right or to the left to change the value.

Tip: To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select from the pop-up menu. Change the upper and/or lower boundaries in the window that appears, to rescale the slider and click .
