Identity By Descent Threshold

Use the field/slider to specify a threshold for reporting pairs of samples.

Pairs of rows/samples that have IBD values greater than or equal to the specified proportion of alleles that are identical by descent will be reported in a data set with the suffix _prs appended.

Sample pairs will be notated using the names for the relationship similarity variables in the output data set; in other words either the user-specified Prefix or the default Prefix "IBD_" with the sample row number appended.

If ID Variables are specified, their values will be appended to the prefix instead of the row number.

Note: If a value of 0 is entered, the output data set will not be created.

To Specify the Identity by Descent Threshold:

8 Make sure Identity by Descent is selected as the Relationship Matrix to Compute.
8 Either type the desired number of partitions into the text field, or move the slider to the right or to the left to specify a value.

Tip: To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select from the pop-up menu. Change the upper and/or lower boundaries in the window that appears, to rescale the slider and click .
