Rare Variant Recoding

This feature enables you to specify how rare variants are coded in the output data set.

 

Select:

When:

Use Dominant Coding for individual rare variants

To convert rare variant genotypes to the value 1 if the genotype comprises one or more rare alleles and 0 otherwise.

Use Dominant Coding collapsing across rare variants in a group

To combine rare variants within an analysis group (such as gene) and coding as 1 if any rare alleles are present and 0 otherwise.

Use Genotype Recoding selected above

To use the same genotype recoding that is used for non-rare variants.
