Backcross Parental Lines Variable

This option enables you to specify a variable indicating the parental lines for the backcross.

When this variable specified, backcrosses are constructed between parental and non-parental lines. This variable must have a unique identifier for the parents (one or both parents must be present).

Identifiers for the lines to be backcrossed do not need to be unique. For example, P1 and P2 for the two parental lines, and L1, L2, ..., Ln for n lines. You must specify the identifiers for the parental lines, using the Value of the Backcross Parental Lines Variable Indicating the Parental Line 1 and Value of the Backcross Parental Lines Variable Indicating the Parental Line 2 text boxes, on the Options tab.
