LOD Score Break Value

Use this option to specify a LOD score value to use for further breaking groups.

If the LOD score between two ordered markers in a linkage group is less than this threshold, the group will be broken into two groups between those markers.

Note: One linkage group can be broken into multiple (>=2) linkage groups.

A marker with LOD score lesser than the specified value with both flanking markers will be put into a singleton group and dropped out of the analysis. Once a group of has been broken into multiple linkage groups, each new group will be re-run through the ordering process.

To Specify the LOD Score Break Value

Check the Break linkage groups between markers with large ordered distances box to activate this field.

Make sure that LOD Score has been specified as the selection criterion in the Break linkage groups based on: option.
