Additional Fixed Effects

Use the text field to specify effects by which to model the mean of the response variable.

These fixed effects are in addition to the primary time or treatment effects, so do not specify any effects confounded with those. The effects can include any mixture of class variables (as specified in the Additional Class Variables above, if available) or continuous covariates.

To Specify Additional Fixed Effects:

8 Type one or more fixed effects in the text field.
8 If you specify more than one fixed effect, then you must separate the effects with spaces. For example, assuming A and B are listed as Cluster Significant Results typing A B in the text field specifies variables A and B as main fixed effects.
8 To specify interactions between effect, type an asterisk (*) between the effects. For example, assuming A and B are listed as Cluster Significant Results, typing A B A*B specifies variables A and B, and the interaction between A and B as fixed effects and constructs a two-way ANOVA model.
8 A vertical bar (|) can be used to create main effects and interactions. For example, typing A|B is the same as typing A B A*B.
