Expected Segregation Ratios for AA AB BB

Use this text box to specify the expected segregation ratios for the chosen experimental cross. These expected ratios are used to test if the observed segregation ratios are significantly different.

Specified values should total to 1.0.

This parameter is optional. Ratios should be entered only when the ratios that you expect differ from the following default ratios.

Cross

Expected Ratio

Backcross to P1 Line (BC1)

0.50 : 0.50 : 0

Backcross to P2 Line (BC2)

0 : 0.50 : 0.50

F2

0.25 : 0.50 : 0.25 for codominant markers

Note: The AB frequency is added to the respective dominant allele frequency when Numeric dominant coding is used.

RILself

0.50 : 0 : 0.50

RILsib

0.50 : 0 : 0.50

Double Haploid

0.50 : 0 : 0.50

To Specify Expected Segregation Ratios:

8 Type the values in a space delimited list, which represents the expected segregation ratios for the chosen experimental cross, in the text box.

For example, in an F2 population the expected ratios of 0.25 : 0.50 : 0.25 should be entered as shown below:

Note: Values are delimited by a single space with no punctuation.
