Random Number Seed for Randomize SVD

Specify a nonnegative integer to be used to start the random number stream for randomized SVD.

Changing this number produces a different realization of the algorithm.

Note: Specify 0 to use the current clock time as the seed.

Note: This option is available only when the Compute near optimal low-rank randomized SVD for the additive and dominance matrices check box is checked.

To Specify the Random Number Seed:

Make sure that the Compute near optimal low-rank randomized SVD for the additive and dominance matrices check box is checked.

Either enter the desired seed in the text field, or move the slider to the right or to the left to specify a value.

Tip: To change the scale of the slider, right-click on the slider and select Rescale Slider from the pop-up menu. Change the upper and/or lower boundaries in the window that appears, to rescale the slider and click OK.
